Sophia Lund
New projekt: Die Fliege träumt Sophia Lund was born in Saarland, grew up in a village and later joined the local punk scene. She studied costume design in Hamburg and theatre/film design in Amsterdam and works as an interdisciplinary artist in the fields of film, theatre and social interactions. Her musical home is synths, which are combined with field recordings. Sophia gives concerts at art jams, designed the soundesign for a radio play and played as a support act for bands. She will perform an experimental electronic ambient live set for modular and semi-modular sound synthesis performed by a large fly. Improvised non-reproducible sounds and field recordings merge into each other, floating into atmospheric soundscapes in which drones become beats and beats become drones.
