Ensemble Density
Charles MacInnesOriginally a Melbourne-based initiative founded by Charles MacInnes, Ensemble Density brings improvisation to the foreground of contemporary art music. Combining guided improvisation with digital tools, and often augmented with on-the-fly contributions from listeners, the performances blur the line between workshop, installation and concert.
