Greta Christensen and Camilla Sørensen, alias "Vinyl -terror & -horror", explore the turntable and vinyl record in their rawest form. The visuality and physicality of the record grooves allows them to transform the playback medium into sculptural objects. Their broken records – reassembled into "cut-ups" like a collaged image – deliberately interrupt the musical flow of the samples, facilitating looping patterns and unexpected structures while mixing found sounds from across a wide spectrum of genres – from clas- sical, folk and Schlager music to vintage movie sound effects. Ignaz Schick ist ein in Berlin lebender Komponist, Klang- und Bildender Künstler und Instrumentalist (Saxofon/Live-Elektronik). Er baut Klangin- stallationen und eigene Instrumente und performt in elektro-akustischen Konzerten meist mit Plattenspieler und modularem Sampler. Dabei kommen häufig Fundmaterialien in Form von alten Schallplatten, Samples aus seinem umfangreichen Archiv oder gefundene (Klang)-Objekte zum Einsatz. Schallplatten werden zerbrochen, mit Klebebändern und Hinder- nissen beklebt, mit Sandpapier aufgeraut oder durchbohrt. Pickup-Objekte werden zu "Rotating Surfaces".
