Naarm/Melbourne-based sound artist Eamon Sprod works (previously under the project titled TARAB) with spatialised performance and installations to shape speculative audio spaces introduced into pre-existing physical or architectural forms. With sounds borrowed from mundane or over-looked/under-heard urban spaces and objects, he shapes dynamic, fragmented audio collages, pursuing an anti-naturalist field recording practice to tease oblique narratives from the everyday; working to include everyday spaces as active participants in aural experiences rather than simply acting as their container. ...........................................
