Hörbar: ECollective Ensemble Doors 19:00 Concerts 20:00 ECOllective Ensemble is a Hamburg-based group navigating the edges of free improvisation, where melody and rhythm serve as anchors amidst moments of chaos and abstraction. Over the past two years, the ensemble has cultivated a shared language rooted in deep listening, spontaneity, and a curiosity for where sound can lead. Their practice embraces both structure and unpredictability, resulting in music that feels exploratory yet grounded. Collaborations have included acclaimed drummer Moritz Baumgärtner at JazzHall Hamburg, and celebrated dancer Annick Schadeck for a performance at the Kunsthalle Hamburg. For their appearance at Hörbar, ECollective will improvise a live soundtrack to film — a fleeting dialogue between moving images and sound.
