In addition to new versions and arrangements of older pieces, there are also new works to be heard. Most of them are variations on the principle of ‘music for groups of the same instruments’: four melodicas, four cymbals, four electric guitars, etc. They reflect Nelly Boyd's intensive preoccupation with sounds of long duration, which change slowly, some- times imperceptibly, and fill the space: both the physical location of the performance with its acoustic properties, as well as the imaginary one in the minds of the listeners – audience and musicians alike. This also reveals the similarities and individual musical personalities of Nelly Boyd.
