blurred edges – Terrine / Gertie Adelaido / PΞB / Ha Kyoon

Terrine / Gertie Adelaido / PΞB / Ha Kyoon

At the abyss of rocking and rolling, this night dissects the rhythmic, isola- ting the body from its physicality, peeling the harsh from the noisy to illumi- nate the hostile fragility of these individual components. Besides being involved in the duos Me Donner and Jazzous, Claire Gapenne's solo project Terrine develops spontaneous and immediate music. Somewhere between no-techno and surgical noise, Terrine's sharp and vibrant music radically carries the raw essence of local scene. Gertie Adelaido is a non-binary open channel, sound experimentalist, artist and meta-punk & ADHD-core creator. Through the heart of chaos they combine different areas of harsh noise, raw experimental sound, their hardcore, metal & screamo roots, contemporary electronics and shattered drums. PΞB blends elements of Grand Guignol horror, spoken word poetry, and metal-inspired vocal performance. Ilia Gorovitz’s ruthless drumming anchors Asja Skrinik’s aggressive shrieks and guttural vocalisations, riding on dissonant layers of droning soundscapes, mechanical hums, and shat- tered metallic crashes. Born in Incheon, raised in rural France and crystallised in the art of the Circus, Ha Kyoon is body music for absolution. A contortion of machinery, synths & sinew. Triggered drums, machines and synths are offset by vocal intrusions, evoking the very physical yet protesting club attributions.
