Fire Eye Quartet
Camila Nebbia presents: "Fire-Eye Quartet," inspired by the Fire-eyed Diucon bird usually found in South America. It serves as a symbol of the interconnectedness and diversity of the natural world, with the ability to thrive in various habitats, reflecting its adaptability and resilience. The group is formed by Paula Shocron on piano, Barbara Togander on voice and turntables, and Camila Nebbia on tenor saxophone. They will feature a guest musician in each city of their tour, and for this concert, John Hughes will be joining them on double bass. Their music is characterized by its improvisational nature and boundless exploration and experimentation. They have released an album titled "The River of Memory Flows Through the Earth Leaving Traces Now Numbers" (released by Ramble Records in 2021), defining their commitment to political activism and social justice.
