DE Eintritt frei Konzert Tuktu and the Belugas Quartet ist eine Band aus Rom, bestehend aus Andrea Rinaldi (E-Gitarre) und einem Belugas Quartet (Pedaleffekte). Ihr Set besteht aus einer E-Gitarre und 25 Pedal-Effekten (Gitarren- und Bass-Synthesizer-Pedale, mehrere seltsame Fuzzes, Pitch-Shifter, Oktaver, verschiedene seltsame Modulationen und Looper). Der Sound ist komplett live bearbeitet, ohne Verwendung von voraufgenommenen Elementen oder Samples und basiert auf der Schichtung von Loops, die verschiedene Klangumgebungen für die organischen und elektronischen Stimmen der vier Belugas schaffen. Am Dienstag, den 23. August, werden sie in der Galerie 21 einen Live-Soundtrack für den Dokumentarfilm "Bioluminescent Creatures of the Deep Sea" spielen, ein Dokumentarfilm, der deutlich macht, wie cool es ist, im Dunkeln leuchten zu können. .... EN Free Admission Concert Tuktu and the Belugas Quartet is a band from Rome composed of Andrea Rinaldi (electric guitar) and a Belugas Quartet (pedal effects) Their set consists of an electric guitar and 25 pedal effects (guitar and bass synth pedals, several weird fuzzes, pitch shifters, octavers, several weird modulations and loopers) the sound is entirely live processed with no use of prerecorded elements or samples and is based on the stratification of loops which creates different sound environments for the organic and electronic voices of the four belugas.
