Our Hearts As Thieves Lyricism as an instrument: American poetry meets European free improvisation, the spoken word encounters tactile music. The American poet/pianist Eliot Cardinaux will play an intimate set with international improvisers.The band uses an ambient-acoustic approach, embracing extended techniques and prepared sounds on their instruments while giving space to Eliot's voice which serves as a narrative anchor. The music is abstract, dynamic, and expressive, filled with complex textures blending in and out of one another. Baud. Sie haben sich Deutschen Schauspielhaus Hamburg kennengelernt. Nach mehreren gemeinsamen Engagements (u. a Schauspiel Hannover und Schauspielhaus Zürich) arbeiten sie seit 2004 an eigenen Projekten, regelmäßig mit ihrem Sohn Oskar in unterschiedlichen personellen Konstellationen. JAJAJA oszilliert in den Bereichen Happening, Performance, Sound und Visual Art. Sie bezeichnen sich als: „Atopic (nicht zuzuordnen) Performance Alchemists“. Sie sind seit 2004 regelmässig internationalen Zentrum für schönere Künste Kampnagel Hamburg zu Gast u.a mit ihren Produktionen „Tristan&Isoldes Jump& Run“ oder „ATOPIA otlos-anders“ bei den letzen Int. Sommerfestivals von Kampnagel im Fleetstreet-Theater Hamburg mit „ ALLgoRythm“ und 2018 mit dem Funk-Kopfhörer Live Radio Experiment „Radio Atopia“.
