Rolando Hernandez, voice - solo -Mexico City // Felix Mayer, posaune - solo - Rolando Hernandez' practice takes different tools from archive research, curatorship, writing, composition and art production. Since 2013 he is co-director and co-curator of Umbral a project space and festival which gathers practices interested in sound experimentation. Since 2015 he runs the artistic institution CCADDASM (Centro de Creación Archivo y Difusión de Documentos de Arte Sonoro en México) which has created different projects to create an alternate historiography of sound practices in Mexico. He's preparing his first exhibition in Europe : Ensayos Performativos in Zentrale (Viena) ; A research project about confession rituals in Dar Jacir (Palestine) and the curatorship of the first retrospective exhibition of Manfred Werder in Mx City. Felix Egon Mayer (1990) widmet sich seit 2011, in Bands, Kollektiven und Ad-Hoc Gruppierungen der improvisierten Musik.2011 gründete er gemeinsam mit David Leutkart (Grodock) das Improvisations Kollektiv „Sohne“. 2012 ging aus den Sessions der ehemaligen „Freitagsmusik“ in Hamburg, dass „Jojo Defek Trio“ hervor, welches von 2014 – 2018 durch Rolf Pifnitzka zum Quartett erweitert wurde. Jüngste Projekte sind u.a.: das internationale composer-performer-collective: „Noiseretreat“, ein Trio mit Christoph Funabashi und Sebastian Oest, sowie das interdisziplinäre Performance-Projekt „ikw“ mit Roland Wendling und Matthew Rogers, welches an den Grenzen von improvisierter Musik, Performance und Tanz arbeitet.
