plastik MEER - MEER musik / Ein DeepWave-Event Wo: MS Stubnitz, ehemaliges Kühl-Transport-Schiff der DDR Hochsee-Fischfangflotte Das plastik MEER: Unsere Weltmeere sind durchsetzt mit Resten von Fischernetzen, Plastikflaschen, Styroporboxen, Tüten etc. Jede Stunde gelangen ca. 675 Tonnen Müll direkt ins Meer. Riesige Plastikteppiche bedecken die Ozeanen, lebensbedrohlich für viele Tiere die sich darin verfangen, oder den Müll fressen und dadurch verhungern. Die MEER musik: Die Ausstellung und Konzerte sind unsere Reaktion auf die Situation in den Weltmeeren. Was: Zwei Acts an einem Abend! Es treten auf das skulpturenSingen-Duo mit Theremin und Vokals und das frei improvisierende, basisdemokratisch organisierte TonArt Ensemble. Parallel: Skulpturen aus Ton und Plastik von Anna Mandel. *** WAVES of plastic - OCEANS of musik / A DeepWave event Where: MS Stubnitz, former freeze & transport vessel of the GDR high seas fishing feet WAVES of plastic: Our world's ocean's are flooded with the remains from fishing nets, plastic bottles, styrofoam packaging, plastic bags etc. Joined by an additional 675 tons of plastic refuse every hour. Gigantic plastic tapestries cover large parts of all oceans, threatening the life of marine animals that get cought up in it, or try to feed on it and starve to death. OCEANS of music: The exhibition and concerts are our reaction to the plight of the oceans. What: Two acts in one evening!
